Why don't I have a band when scrolling through my BlackBerry Classic pictures and their org?

I noticed that when I scroll through my pictures with BlackBerry classic there is noband at the top with the months. In the past on my Blackberry 10 there was a blue band with the month and year, andi couldeasily scroll through the pictures (I have many) to the month I needed. Can that be added somehow?

Lastly-most annoying thing ever is when iscroll down forpictures I tooksay 4 monthsago. While finding what I need the pictures trat scrolling all the way back up to the last picture I took- all on their own. So I take time to scroll through, with no band to indicate date-and when I find the pictures within seconds everything pulls back up to the top. Infront of my eyes and to my astonishment.

Have you selected the "Date" tab? (You can find it in the left menu - tap on the "3 lines" button at the left bottom of main window)

Got it the band really helped. Ty. I'll be using that feature from now on.
