    Hey, everyone. Just got my Classic this week and for the most part am quite happy, other than the redundancy of the HUB, of course. Now here's one issue I haven't been able to crack;

    When in a dark room the sensor picks this up and turns on the keyboard backlight yet my screen dims to what would be approximately 25% brightness no matter what. Even though the brightness setting can be at 100% the screen it self won't brighten in a dark room. Is there any way to turn off this feature?

    Thank you for your help.

    No I don't believe there is a setting for this.

    The screen brightness is always adjusted automatically in BB10, there is no way to completely disable this feature. That slider for adjusting the brightness is more or less something to fine tune your display, I believe it mostly limits the maximum brightness it adjusts to - at least to some point.

    The slider does make it bright even in a dark room. It's possible it's overcompensating or you're not actually adjusting to the max. The higher 25% of the slider makes a huge difference
