Now we all know that BB classic (legacy OS) coming back.
I sure It will come with some new technology like
(if not then Chen is doing another mistake like old boys)

    More pixel screen
    Front camera
    Better back camera
    More finished updated OS
May be OS 8 with new UI
Dual core or quad core CPU
    Better graphics
    More RAM

Why they didnt release OS 7.5 with new tech back in 2013??
    Why they chose QNX(BB10) ???
What is big point behind going back to legacy?
What is good about legacy OS? If so why they stop developing it ?

The Q20 is BlackBerry 10 powered, not Legacy OS. It does have the tool belt like the 9900, but the OS is BlackBerry 10. The reasoning is, very simply, the Q10 was too "out there" for legacy customers and upgrade sales were much weaker than expected. The Q20 is supposed to be a more accessible upgrade path.

Why they didn’t release OS 7.5 with new tech back in 2013??

OS 7 had structural limitations that modern platforms (including BlackBerry 10) do not have.

I've seen quite a few hints that people think it's not a BB10 device. I wonder how many are going to be blown away when it's released with BB10 lol

Hopefully BlackBerry will get rid of that backwards screen thingy and make the whole phone just a bunch of buttons.

    First, do more research.

Then, tell us why it matters how BlackBerry runs the company as long as it makes the phones YOU want?

Yes, there is "misconception" for BB users. I for one was in the dark. The past 2-3 weeks I have spent well over 100 hours trying to catch up. So please be gentle on us newbie's.

There is good and bad on this forum.

I'd actually rather the camera button they used to have. I'm always looking like a perv by accidentally clicking the camera icon on my Z10

    Potential customer thinks legacy BBOS.

Potential customers remembers lock ups, lag, poor apps and battery pulls.

Potential customer tries and buys something else.

Perhaps the real red flag here is that all, if not most, of the confusion and misconception could be either avoided or cleared up by strong advertising on behalf of Blackberry.. As a company it's their responsibility to let people know about their products, the capabilities and offerings.

    Or.....

    Potential customers sees tool belt.

    Potential customer thinks legacy BBOS.

Potential customers remembers BIS, a wider selection of headless apps, themes, and the best messaging experience available .

Potential customer buys it thinking it runs legacy OS.

Potential customer falls in love with BlackBerry 10 after trying it while they thought it was legacy OS.

For whatever reason, two to three times as many people decide to buy a legacy device instead of a BlackBerry 10 device quarter after quarter. Being more like legacy devices might help the Q20 sell better.

    .
Calling it the "Classic" is really going to confuse a lot of people, isn't it?

The "Classic" BlackBerry that doesn't run the classic OS, but instead runs this really modern OS that is nothing like the old BlackBerry that you used to have. Some non-trivial number of people will be confused by that.

    So, that contrasts with:

Potential customer sees BlackBerry phone without toolbelt

Potential customer remembers hearing from friends how BlackBerry is going out of business

Potential customer doesn't bother trying and buys something else

    Ah, so much better...

Potential customer excited to try new BB10 but potential customer realises BB10 is nothing like old BB including missing "tool belt" missing apps and missing services, potential customer tries new BB10 in shop and doesn't like it, potential customer decides to buy something else or keep their old BB.

Far more realistic scenario judging by BB10 poor sales.

I think the tool belt will help those demoing BB in store. It's a lot easier to grasp on the fly than the OS itself.

Why would they have to demo something that has been around forever?

I personally do not enjoy the fact that they're bringing back the belt, but since I won't be buying it, I guess I can't be *that* upset, right? I do know the facts - that there are still more legacy devices being sold than BB10 devices (this is still true, yes?) - so if the Classic does sell more phones and ameliorates BlackBerry's state, then that's awesome.
