In the world where iPhone 6S are leaked upon the release of iPhone 6, where are the leaks for Classic 2?

Come on BlackBerry, give us something to see, specs, designs, anything exciting!

Agree! Bring back removable battery. Im never one to believe in removable batt until I tried my Q10. Definitely passport specs pls and size of Q10.

I don't expect to see a Classic 2 before 2017. There hasn't been any word about it so far and BlackBerry is focusing on the release of their three upcoming devices in 2015.
If they will announce it by late 2015 or early next year, the official release date is going to be at least 6 months from that. Add another 6-12 months for the usual BlackBerry delay and we're already in 2017.

I can just give you the advice if you want that form factor to buy it now.

I don't think Classic II fits into Chen's plan of getting as many cheap BlackBerry devices into the hand of enterprise employees as possible. Look at the Leap specs, same as the Classic. Us consumers are not in the plan at the moment. If he can gain market share back then maybe. That's not to say I wouldn't buy a Classic II because I definitely would buy.

Passport specs are fine. They aren't outdated, just not the fastest available. The classic is not meant to be the fastest phone you can buy. The current specs are too low, but it doesn't need to go past the passport.

That all said, I am hoping for an improved classic for my wife. Her q10 is almost two years old and a Classic would be nice, but it not enough of a jump up.

So far there seems no Classic 2 planned for 2015/early 2016 release.

BlackBerry has barely put out different colors of the first Classic, so the second one won't be here for a while, I'm guessing next year.

It's way too soon for Classic 2, let alone any leaks. Classic needs to be out at least one calendar year. BlackBerry isn't really good at leaking anything, so the best we can do is speculate in threads like these.

Well not all people use their phones the same way. I handle 3 email accounts push, watsapp, BBM and radd.IO. It does all perfectly without any issues. Only gripe is Viber but can't have it all! Nevertheless I don't seem to find any reason to want a more powerfull unit until this one dies. I use It daily and fully. Not the gaming play guy. Browser is fine for me. I don't have overwhelming ultrafast expectations some others have. I like the speed of it so why look for a new one. People want something different once they get bored of something so it means every 5 months for you BlackBerry should release just a slightly better phone to keep you happy!

Agree with you .. Because this what always blackberry do .. Not same the iphone every year they upgrade the phone , blackberry will keep the classic 2-3 years and not sure if it will be classic 2 or different phone..

That why i was wish blackberry made the classic with 13mp camera becuase i will use it many years

BB should've released a high-end Classic from the start so it'll stay relevant for years to come.

Classic is still rolling out in some countries, don't expect one anytime soon.

I use both classic and passport, classic is underspec'd, too much lag and slow launching apps, even the browser speed reminds me of OS7.

Although it looks like my next BlackBerry will be the "Slider", I'd love a high-powered, slightly modified "Classic 2". But for now, my Classic is the best I've ever owned (never used anything but a BlackBerry) and I'd only like the bronze version for now. If I could simply get a Bronze Classic, I'd be good for another year.
