My carrier Telus not only doesn't have a demo model in its stores but doesn't sell the Classic in the stores, u have to order it which makes checking out build quality impossible until delivery. Anyone experiencing light leak around the bezel, wobbly trackpad or creaky kb? Any opinions on the docking station? I really missed this on the Q10. Any info appreciated.

Not bad. Though 1 of the 2 I ordered has developed an extremely creaky/loose back key.

Hoping it's isolated, happened a lot on the 9900 devices.

Build quality is A1!! I wouldn't go far as saying it's better than the Passport but definitely better than previous bb's.

Feels very solid. My spacebar and a couple keys in the bottom left region area have become a bit creaky, but it's not a huge bother for me. I'll keep a close eye on it. Other than that I'd say it's been the most solid BlackBerry I've owned to date (I've had: 8130, 8330, 9630, 9700, 9780, 9790, 9900, Z10, Q10).

How is that even possible? The entire toolbelt is one piece on both the Classic and 9900. Do you mean the entire thing becomes loose??

I am guessing the person is talking about backspace button.

Ah, ok, that makes sense, with the return of the toolbelt, I keep focusing on that and was thinking about the back button on the toolbelt...

I prefer the Passport back surface, but can see it both ways.

I actually like the feel of the back. Nicer than the black Q10 which was a dirt magnet. But I can understand why some wouldn't like the material.

No issues with mine... and I did try to stand the Classic in the docking cradle that the Q10 used to go in on its side... but it doesn't quite fit!

The Q10 cradle has a slight angle to the USB connector which stops it from working... although I have just had a thought about trying to bend it - stand by!

Nope, trying to bend the cradle connection didn't work - hopefully they will have something for us soon!

Build quality of my Classic is very good. Especially the keyboard is pretty much perfect. Feels overall more solid than the Q10 and is on the same level that my Passport was. I actually prefer the back over the glassweave. Q10 backside never felt as solid because of the removable backdoor.

I think the build quality of the classic is excellent and the keyboard is a huge improvement over the tiny keys on the Q10. The device feels nice and solid and heavy which I like, I feel like I bought a value added product, not like those 800 plastic phones from Samsung which feel like a piece if tin in my hand.
