    Specs I mean!

    CB10 on my Passport
I haven't been moaning about the classic, but it would make me smile if trackpad lit up (yes I know it's not a spec) ,higher Ghz core (dual is fine) , 32 gb on board , capacitive touch keyboard (like Passport) , quick launch buttons(two at least, programmable) , wireless charging, contact charging dock.
Thing is, classic isn't meant to be a flagship. It is a mass adoption phone because they were able to keep the cost down by making a good working phone, not a flagship. Its just a first Gen product.
Don't worry, I'm sure it's successor will be fantastic.
I am interested. Once I demo it i will know if it's coming home with me.

A camera par with the iPhone 6.
You should really examine the limits of optics before beliving all the ads.

You can only get out a very limited quality out of a needle head size lens.

Hi-Res optics will ALWAYS require large lenses. Small lenses will ALWAYS produce GARBAGE results.

In some cases (like today's camera phones), those GARBAGE results are electronically tweaked and enhanced to the point that they actually look decent on a small screen for an UNTRAINED EYE, but don't get confused, the original image is still GARBAGE.

There is a reason why professional photographers don't use camera phones.

This is true but we do not always carry those good cameras and have to take a snaphot. I either use my FF DSLR or iPhone 6.
If you know digital photography, you know DXO MARK Web site. Here is their opinion (and I always trusted their tests for DSLRs)

I do not question Apple's effort.

Never the less in case of optics size matters and ALWAYS will.

    Sorry for trailing off-topic.

I promise to never complain about anything ever again if it has:
    16gb ram
8 core 3ghz processor with adreno over 9000 graphics
    256gb internal storage
    SD card expandable
    Makes breakfast, lunch, and dinner

All for the low price of 99c

    That's all I'm asking for.

A real blackberry that's worth being called a classic..this is a rehashed version of the curve.

Make a real bold phone with no compromise in terms of specs and build quality, materials, battery life and accessories support (dock, holster, pouch)

Better specs def would have pushed over those that are disappointed or on the fence... BlackBerry could have easily done that... I'm thinking there's a long term plan that limits what they were able to put in the classic... maybe souping up the classic would mess up plans for Q20

    Decent specs.

A higher dpi screen. A modern processor. 3gb of ram. And that is literally all the change that need be made. Perhaps put a more modern camera in the device.

For 450usd, modern specs is all I want. I can get the Passport for 500usd this weekend, and it's a supercomputer in comparison.
