Plenty of threads here on the forums saying: whatever capacity you can afford as ling as it is SDXC, class 10, UHS 1 or UHS 3.

    Happy shopping.

At the moment I'm using a SanDisk Extreme PRO 64GB and in the past I used a SanDisk Ultra 128GB in my Classic.

I just upgraded to the SanDisk 64 gig UHI-I class 10 from a 32. I've had good luck with SanDisk.

I have at least 18gb just in music alone.

Option 1: Buy the biggest card you can afford. Keep it for 5 years.

    Option 2: purchase a 16GB card and in 2 - 3 years time purchase a 32GB card.

    8GB. $
    16GB. $$
    32GB. $$$
    64GB. $$$$
    128GB $$$$$

I learned the hard way to just spend the extra money for something of quality that will last for years. Sandisk Class 10 Ultra 64g is what I use now (after spending too much for a variety of "cheaper SD cards).

There's some cracking deals on Ebay for retail packaged microSD 32gb Sandisk Ultra UHS-1's with Adapter. Grabbed a couple early in the week at about 11 pounds each inc delivery.

Don't be tempted by slightly cheaper non-retail package ones, there's a heck of a lot of forgeries about (I've had a few, even good suppliers can get conned).

Depending on your usage, you may need bigger, but for me a 32gb is fine (I use a camera for photo's and camcorder for video with fast full sized SD's).

I typically use SanDisk Ultra UHS-1 cards, 16 GB and 32 GB capacities, and never had a problem with them. Stay away from cheaper microSD cards, it may seem like a good deal now but when they start experiencing slow transfer rates or corrupt your data you'll wish you had spent the extra $20 on a decent card.

HINT: The problem isn't the phone, nor the SD card, neither the means to move the songs in...

Purchased a sandisk ultra 128gb off of ebay for 40$, turned out to be a fake, it does allow almost the full storage, but random files just won't save on the card, and the write speed is approx 1mbps. Then I went to canada computers picked up same card but this time it appears to be a real one, write speed is at approx 14mbps.

The first card I had to format in a computer before it would even read in my passport, but the second one, as soon as I put it in, the phone started downloading a driver, after a few min it was ready to go with no formatting required.

Sandisk doesn't make a 128gb extreme pro model. If you are seeing one it is a fake.

Here's a link to the different cards sandisk makes:

Even ones with retail package can be fake, I have purchased ones that look like they came off a store shelf, but turned out to be fakes. Buying online almost always ends up with fake cards. Sometimes the seller doesn't even know it's fake!

Same here. My motto is "cheap is expensive". If you think about it, it's true. Buy the best you can afford at the time, in the end you'll be happy you did, and it will cost you less in the long term.
