I say find the best tempered glass protector you can. I will tell you for sure NOT to buy the OEM BB screen protector, it is awful. Feels brittle and I think it ruins the clarity of the screen. I put it on and immediately took it off and threw it away.

Am I the only one who thinks gorilla glass doesn't need a screen protector? I never got a scratch on any phone that has gorilla glass and I drop my phone often.

Wouldn't that leave with a serious edge when gliding your finger up for doing gestures. I can't imagine that would feel good.

Phantom Glass made a 0.2mm thin Corning Gorilla Glass based screen protector which applies with Silicone Nano-Adhesion.

Phantom Glass is in Canada so shipping is a little high, so you may want to buy it on Amazon.

Got myself a cheap tempered glass from ebay, love it, I find it definitely better than the oem screen protector. As much as i want to trust gorilla glass, its scratch "resistant" not "proof".

I just put a tempered glass one on, came from China and arrived this morning. Usually tempered glass just lays itself out on the screen but this one is not adhering at the sides. It may still be settling down, or is the classic screen slightly rounded? Perhaps the product is just too thick....

Same as me. I never used screen protector for my phone. It make the screen more beautiful and easier to touch and slide. Of course, you should be careful when put the phone into your pocket (no keys inside). I have many BlackBerry phone but all of them are still in good looks.

Most "good" tempred glass screen protectors have rounded edges and if you align them correctly after a day you won't notice it's there or feel it.

I am on the 2nd, first one took a edge drop and developed a pin hole crack that started to spread. My wife just dropped her iphone 6 and the glass screen protector got a nice crack- but the real screen was fine- so I ordered her a new one.

To me tempered glass protectors are more to protect vs shatter and cracks than scratches and smudges- zaggs etc. Can do that just fine.

I currently have a Mr. Shield Passport screen protector on my Classic (I cut it down to size). The edges didn't seal well and there are a couple of bubbles. This is the first matte / anti-glare protector I have used and I love it. In the past I have had great luck with BodyGuardz.

I usually put a few drops of alcohol on the screen which lets me slide the protector around and get it perfect before it dries.

I've now fitted 2 tempered glass protectors and both refuse to adhere across the whole screen. There are air bubbles in the top right hand corner of the screen where apparently it's not totally flat.

    Anyone else got this issue?

I have the same issue as you.
It is a Nillkin tempered glass protector.

Having had two tempered glass protectors that both failed to stick flush across the surface I wouldn't recommend spending money on that product as it's likely to have the same issue, not because it isn't quality, but because the phone's screen is clearly not perfectly flat (at least mine isn't)...

Same here with the Nilkin tempered glass protector, I got air bubbles on the top right corner, first right besides the LED, the other one besides the volume up button.
Tried to refit the protector two times, both with similar results. I don't know whether this is caused by the device or the tempered glass.
