I am thinking of upgrading my Classic to 10.3.3. Do I need to reactivate the play store on my device or should everything transfer over? What issues have people run into?

On my Z30, I did a non-destructive upgrade to 10.3.3.2049 from 10.3.2.2876 and then a bit later to 10.3.3.2163, all via Sachesi, and my previously installed Cobalt Google Play Store/Services stuff transitioned with no issues.
As for any other issues reported with both 10.3.3 variants, of which I had none, see the threads for both in BB10 Leaked/Beta OS - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com

If you use an auto-loader, which preforms a "destructive" upgrade, you will need to re-install all third party apps and re-setup everything anyways.
    • Destructive = Upgrade wipes the device clean and then installs the OS package. You loose all your settings, contacts, messages, device files, and third party apps.
    • Non-Destructive = Upgrade only replaces the BlackBerry systems and apps, but leaves intact all your settings, contacts, messages, device files, and third party apps.

Updating your Classic to 10.3.3 will not affect any settings/apps/data/cobalt settings etc IF you update with the Blitz file. If you use an autoloader, however, you will have to re-do all your accounts, settings and cobalt GP as an autoloader totally wipes your device. As to issues found, just check the forum here, there are plenty of threads discussing the subject. There are no major changes to 10.3.3 other than security issues that the average user will never realize. The browser has been updated which is good, and that is about all. It runs very well and the major problem people have had is that with bluetooth connectivity. This seems to be resolved, for the most part, by simply re-pairing all your devices. Good luck if you choose to update!

Should be no problem with OTA. Just make sure you plug it in, be patient because it is a big update and let it settle for awhile after you are done. You will not notice many changes afterwards but hey, it's an update

Thanks for the responses! Wish me luck (tired of the constant update notification). I did read someplace that the android apps seem to run a little faster.

    DaFox,

What settings did you use on Sachesi to do the non-destructive upgrade?

I used Sachesi to extract/split the de-brick file into a set of apps, put the Radio and OS BAR's into the same folder, and then dropped the folder into Sachesi Install tab.
I left the box checked to only allow the newer version of a file to be installed.
This way, it only upgraded what was a newer source file / older installed.

Did the update. Had to forget my bluetooth pairings and re-pair. Everything seems to work fine now. Thanks to everyone for the help :-)
