1. I notice that appointments I enter into my device doesn't sync with my gmail (server) calendar, but it works in reverse. I use Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync to set up email/calendar/contacts, btw, as it was recommended because of Gmail issues. How do I make the appointments sync in both directions?

2. How do I show half hours on my calendar by default? It only shows by the hour.

Btw I already unchecked "Home" calendar on my phone, but every new event defaults "Home." How can I make it so every new event defaults with my gmail account so it appears in both?

-It does sync also From the device and back to Gmail, but that can take time. Give it at least 30 minutes ..

(When you add the account to your device, there is a "sync interval" setting, I have found that this is only an indicator of shorter vs longer delays,.. even when set to 30 min, it can take more.)

Usually you can "force" the sync From device if you are in a hurry:
From inside the calendar (on phone), After you add an appointment, use the overflow menu at the bottom and try "Refresh" - give it 10-20 seconds and then check your online account again.

Settings - General - Meeting Duration

That did not work unfortunately. It only makes meetings last half an hour. I want my calendar to show half hour options visually when i open a day in calendar...it did that before 10.3.1.
