Back in the day I was told that will be on the Q10, didn't happen in the end.
Or a sensor integrated to the keyboard. I don't know if it's practicable but I saw on the internet a computer keybord wich permit to scroll, zoom ... maybe BB can minimize it and add it to the keybord, that's what I imagined for the Q30 (windermere), maybe not for the Q20 but I'd love it.
