As we know, AT&T and Verizon accounts for about 90% of alll large corporate accounts - and we know that the classic was created to replace all the old os7 holdouts in the corporate sector.

We have heard that some government and corporate people have questioned the classics production location due to the China USB hack software fiasco.

We have seen that AT&T holds enough sway to get a passport redesign.

BlackBerry Classic Plus is what we will see on AT&T and Verizon - the Classic was a large scale beta and with the move of production away from foxxcon to their traditional production facility and with that they have improved slightly stats- we can't expect a total rehaul but an upped cpu within the chipset architecture and maybe some more ram- along with improved QC.

    Now wake up!

Theory... or you need to cut back on your meds.

The Classic "design" is based on meeting a price point for enterprise, and a profit level for BlackBerry. Messing with the hardware to make improvements would only increase the cost of production, and thus the end users price. Unless you believe that BlackBerry can afford to cut their profits...

Doesn't matter where devices are assembled. That builder in Mexico that BlackBerry uses is just taking pre-manufactured components and putting them together. They get a circuit board (or boards) that have all the chips and ports already built into them. Plug those cards into one another add a screen, battery, buttons and a case and it's assembled.

Love the thought, wish it would be true but I doubt it will come to reality.

It would seem like the only rational excuse as to why this has been held up for so long. It looks like the entire world has this phone dropping into their markets and while bbry is almost down to zero user base in the states it would seem the only direction from here is up.
