    Never mind, I see I would have to add hotspot to my TMO plan. Hate to pay $10/mo for something I'd seldom use.

    Yes the Hotspot feature is well worth it. I work mobile quite often and if I happen to be in a spot with no WiFi or very slow WiFi, tethering to my Classic works flawlessly and is very quick when I have LTE with Verizon.

    I wouldn't recommend paying the additional money if you rarely use it. Back in the 9900 days there was an app called "Tetherberry" that allowed tethering without adding it to your plan.
