A little fluorescent light... still slightly off focus and blurry. This can't be a 8 megapixel camera lol

Totally good camera. Taking pictures with the Classic-img_20150328_000359.jpgTook this in the dark, other than light from the TV.

I'm no photography expert but for most of my life, "haze" around light sources lead me to a lens cleaning session. Or removing covers... Just an uneducated thought. ??

I don't think the classic came with a protective film over the camera lens did it?

Hmmmm it did? Was it easy to take off, cause I don't remember pulling one out from the camera. It does seem like there is something, but I can't figure out how to take it off looool

Try the corners, just pick at it with your fingernail. Unless they took it off before or something, but mine had it.

A few examples. I think for just quick snaps it's awesome but I wouldn't replace my dslr with it :P
I'm a mom and my kids do not sit still forever in motion and I have yet to have a blurry motion photo like my old galaxy s4 used to do!

OP try moving the focus box to different areas, try in a bright and then in a darker place in the scene.

I guess I've been making a bit of progress using the "lock" feature that was mentioned earlier. This is probably the best pic I've taken of my screen with the Classic. The colours are very warm compared to the original, but it's a nice shot either way.

The show is Genshiken: Second Generation, in case anyone cares.

I think the two best improvements on my classic came from camera ++, awesome app and the 10.3.2 update. Mine did have a protective lens film that had to be removed. You can recognize it by the white portion meant to be the grab point. This shot was full 3 year old hyperactive action. Aside from the tilt lens I applied it froze the action where I wanted, in the face.

I've been reading about Camera++ improving the quality of the pictures on the Classic quite often. Wondering if this is REALLY a fact or if it's simply a placebo effect. (Really , the Classic's camera is the only disappointment I've truly had with the device.)

K0sld, your posting is the one that's lead me to download and give it a try for myself... Hoping this truly does add some enhancements...

I hope you enjoy it. One clarification, I think what I like about camera ++ is it opens up all the manual controls. So you can take a photo as bad or as good as you can or want. It's quite easy to set the wrong settings for the shot as well! ;-). My notes, I prefer to turn continuous focus OFF and tap on the screen where I want to refocus. That stops the damn random refocus to blurriness.
