Will this be a new model with T-Mobile branding or will they sell the unlocked models?

T-Mobile and BlackBerry have been on outs for a long time now. Don't hold your breath...

I do wish Chen and Legere would just get over it though. Both companies need all the help they can get.

(I had no idea this happened, so thanks for starting this thread )

I'm thinking it's going to be the SQC100-4 that's used in Canada. The only band it's missing is LTE b12, but that network is not truly nationwide, and not even up everywhere it can be up. It'll take too long to design a new model and send it through the FCC.

@kvndoom: read the front page of CrackBerry.

@Jew4BlackBerry: @JohnLegere With @BlackBerry back, will Wi-Fi calling be available to all BlackBerry 10 devices on the network?

The past trend with BB10 phones has been that as long as its the same model TMO's selling, you'll get WFC. Hopefully that continues here.

Edit: from the page TMO's put up for the Classic (with a full band listing...respect) it looks like they're going to be selling the SQC100-4. Same model as ShopBB US/Amazon US.

Let's hope they get multiple colors as well. I need the bronze or blue. I would be surprised if they didn't get the passport sometime this summer. Though I wish it was the original version.

If they did get the Passport, it would probably be the original version since the AT&T version is "exclusive" to AT&T.

    Location, location, location.

If you're at a place that has WiFi but is a dead zone for cell signals (or at least TMO's,) you can have a signal thanks to WFC. Also, if you're overseas and hop on a WiFi network to make your calls/send your texts to the US, they count as domestic calls/texts, i.e. you won't have to roam on a foreign carrier.

    For these situations:

    - You work in a building where cell signal is weak but there's plenty of free wi-fi.
    - You're traveling overseas and want to use your own number to make and receive calls for free. Even with T-Mobile's no international roaming charges, calls are still $0.20/minute to/from the States via cell tower. Wi-fi is free.

Without wifi calling, you already can sms any numbers while abroad without paying roaming charges.

So glad to see Tmo and bbry back together but I already got an unlocked Passport.

My wife though could use a classic soon. The two years will be up next month on her q10 but I will likely wait until I can get a refurb Classic.
