I am absolutely thrilled with the classic. The iPhone 6 is a great phone but it always felt childish and cheap. The Blackberry is so well built. I've never felt such a high quality device before. I can't believe how well it integrates with everything. The transition from iOS was very smooth; Microsoft Exchange made contacts and email integration a breeze. For everyone switching...give it some time to adjust...it is goofy at first but you get used to it quick and won't look back. Overall I love BB10. The hub is incredible. BB10 is less user friendly for settings and such but I actually like that. My wife wants one badly now too as we are already using BBM back and forth on my Classic and her iPhone 4s. I am a junior executive and I am constantly taking calls, emailing and answering texts. I don't have time for games and I only use mainstream apps. This works better than anything on the market for these functions. I am honestly very sad this incredible product does not get more coverage and advertising. I am praying they do not shut down the handset business as I will now buy upgrades to the Classic until I die. It doesn't have the epic screen on the Galaxy Edge, doesn't have app selection of iOS...but it just feels right. I wouldn't trade it for anything now.

    Pros:
    1) Keyboard...epic. It's hard to describe until you have actually used it. I love it. I am typing this review on it!
    2) Build Quality - feels better than anything out now. Very solid...like a Swiss Watch.
    3) BB10. Great software. Please don't put Android on the Classic.
    4) Notification light - excellent for meetings when you don't want your screen lighting up.
    5) BlackBerry Blend and Built-In Music - I really like the music App...more than the new iOS music player...which I am still pretty amazed by this...getting it to the BlackBerry could be easier though...BlackBerry Link is buggy and crashes a lot on my Macbook 12 retina. But overall...awesome music experience.

    Cons:
    1) BBM had associating BlackBerry ID stall at setup. Took me awhile to fix this; not even sure how I did honestly. It just worked after doing tons of things. BlackBerry needs to keep pushing updates to refine the software. It is the first thing people do in setup and it will leave a horrible first impression.
    2) Trackpad and toolbelt. I really like this BUT...only issue with built quality...Trackpad is rotated slightly to the left. I guess this is a known issue. Toolbelt buttons are a little creaky and cheap compared to the excellent keyboard and phone. They complete the device though and make it look great - they should stay. Debating going through warranty to fix or replace the toolbelt (I am OCD). Blackberry needs to fix this asap! This phone is too perfect to have such a glaring advertisement of substandard tolerance rating. It is unacceptable for a phone of this caliber.
    3) Camera is slow and not the best. Not bad at all but I know they could do better...

Neutral - Apps. Not bad for me but I can see the reason people are calling this a deal breaker. Love BlackBerry world, just needs more. Put Instagram, Snapchat, Google Play and Google services and I think BlackBerry is set. I used Cobalts Google Play mod and that works pretty well. Patched apps are next!

Blackberry needs to steer their strategy like Porsche...classic design...modernized and perfected.

Wreed, in addition to the Pros you listed, add shortcuts (applying functions/speed dials to keys) as well. One of the big reasons I prefer the PKB to VKB.

Yes, once you have the short cut set up to "your" setting you will like even better.

After a while you will start expanding your knowledge to loading the latest "leaked" OS. By doing so you will have the latest OS way before your carrier has them for updates.

In regards to the track pad if it is rotated to the left return it under warranty. I have had several and non of them have had this problem.

Good luck with your new phone.

Sorry to be "that guy" but please don't abuse the term OCD if you're not really. Like are you clinically diagnosed with that disorder or because you like things perfect you decide to call yourself OCD? It's an actual disorder and those who have it actually have a difficult time managing it and trying to live a somewhat normal life...

If you're simply annoyed by it a bit, you're just a bit of a perfectionist, that's all. I am too.

The joys of public posting online. Everyone has a word or phrase that offends them. I appreciate your insight into my loose and offensive terminology - I will cross reference every word or phrase I write / say from now on with a medical condition database before I post. We should actually start a company to develop an App for that on BB World....especially for obesity, heart disease and diabetes slang...these are popular and rapidly growing medical conditions that offend many so naturally they should have a shortcut and maybe even notification reminders in the hub. Sarcasm aside, you are absolutely correct I used the term loosely...it is a brutal disorder with very little treatment options. good call. Because of you, I will be more cognizant of my medical condition slang use. While you did fault me accurately...I wonder how and if you have any friends. Must be a huge turn-on calling out people's mistakes publicly and not via private message. Lastly, a quick leadership tip - please own it next time. Don't say "I don't want to be that guy"...you CLEARLY are that guy, even with a valid point. It sounds very passive, mushy and weak. Just say your point, drop it and move on. Great awkward introduction to my first post on CB. For anyone else that is reading -This is my second post on CB using the Classic! I really like that concept rendering of the Classic II. Some questions: What function / app iPhone had and BlackBerry doesn't you missing the most?
How happy you are with maps / navigation?
Could you compare signal quality and battery life?

Yes, diplomatic. When my post said nothing about him personally, yet his response was full of passive aggressive personal insults, lol. Hey man, I am just so naive that I assume other people are like me and actually take learning something new as a good thing instead of letting my pride get in the way and getting insulted over it. If I did the same thing, I'd love for someone to point it out to me so that I would stop making that same mistake. It's about making myself a better person and making my words more precise. I'd hate to look back and realize that I'm one of the millions of morons who respond to those meme posts where like one tile is out of place or something has an odd number of something, etc. that responds with "OMG, I HAVE OCD!!" If someone had saved me from making a fool of myself like that, I would go find that person and thank him/her, lol. But that's fine, if he wants to take the advice, great. If not, then hey, keep doing it then. :-)

I got rid of my 6 from Sprint for a Classic from AT&T. I love it. My 6 would overheat, apps would crash, battery would drain super fast (unplugged at 0600 for work) and by midday it was almost dead (1200)

I noticed a lot of that as well with the 6...it drove me crazy. Especially battery life and crashing apps. The BlackBerry apps seem much more stable than iOS variants. Playstore and Amazon are obviously not very stable but still work fine for my purposes. Something else I am finding is that the Classic looks much less dirty. Smudges on the screen are less noticeable and the textured back stays clean no matter what I do. Much better design for actually using a phone. I get people staring at it all the time now in lines...not sure what they are thinking! Very glad to purchase this phone and break from being an iSheeple. I still love my Apple Macbook 12 though! I honestly cannot understand why this phone gets so much negativity among the tech elite...it's kinda sad actually
