I've always been scared to go from my iPhone 6 Plus to a Classic.... I can't lose that all day battery life. I can go from 6am to 6pm and be at 50% and have battery life for the night if I plan to go out, it's really great. Would love to hear how your battery life has been on the Classic.

I'm on 10.3.2.556 on AT&T, and I go usually 2 days on one charge with moderate usage. My 6 would only last about 6 hours on iOS 8.4.

The battery life is actually really good. I haven't logged it or anything but I absolutely notice I get much longer life than an iPhone 6. Not sure about the plus though. I would try the classic out in person too because the screen is smaller (but it doesn't really feel small). Coming from an iPhone Plus might be a bit more challenging with screen real estate BUT you will love how easy the well-built Classic is to hold in your hand. I was nervous too...I've owned iPhones since the original in 2007...before that numerous Blackberries...I will never go back after using the Classic.

It's usually pretty good. I never really have an issue going an entire day without about 50% left at the end of the day unless I used it extra heavily or something that day...

Battery life on the Classic is solid. It's not going to keep going for days like the Passport but it definitely lasts as long as it should.

Hey, as long as it makes it until the next charging it's all good. Mine is still showing 8 hours left and it's already 0117 here.

You guys why don't you create BBM group for newly converted blackberry friends? I am too old for this( 8 years with BlackBerry) but can attend one. I am really enjoying to see people with BlackBerry especially women.

Not even necessary, I keep LTE on and it lasts all day. In fact, I fell asleep last night without charging, it's at 39% now...

While technically true, there's zero reason to do this with a classic. I easily make it through a full day (which for me is say 7am to 10 pm) and never have a battery issue.

I drop it into a charging stand before bed and grab it when I wake up and head out to work. This is my main phone for work (I am a consultant) and I use it extensively for email and voice calls throughout the day, plus some music and podcasts as well. All with LTE enabled.

I'm sure others may use their phone more extensively than I do, but I certainly would say I get good battery life with moderate use.

Swipe from top down in homescreen or use two fingers to swipe down from any other screen, select Device Monitor, if it's not there, select settings, app manager, then device monitor.

There is just something about BlackBerry that nobody else has.. I used the iPhone 5S for awhile but came back to BlackBerry now using the Classic! The iPhone has a great camera and decent specs but the OS is so boring and not a true mobile OS.. After using BB10 it makes iOS look bad because it's like an app selector instead of a productive tool that helps you get things done! BB10 is well integrated so you always have a way to get back to something or respond and stay where you are at and keep doing what you were doing. The Flow! Whereas in iOS you have to go in then out to get places.. it's not a very smooth experience.. The iPhone does have great apps and other nice things about it but BB10 is a better experience for what you get!.. I will stay with BlackBerry till the wheels fall off... #Classic

I'm with you there! I love the Passport as it is a productive powerhouse but there is something about the Classic that just really nails it in terms of bringing the nostalgic classic design with a modern look. It looks right standing beside other modern phones and yet that keyboard / toolbelt combo just makes it feel right at home.

I switched to Classic from Lumia 930. 3 main reasons: battery life ; emails; productivity. And no regrets about my choice. Even camera on Lumia was better and I liked interactive home screen.

I am thinking of buying a Classic (currently an Android user)....

But here's what I would like to know from you guys... Does it lag really bad? The specs are a little dated.

The only opportunity I had to use one was in an AT&T store and it was on 1 percent battery. And I know that display models on store WiFi are not the best indicator of actual experience.

    Thanks for any help.

Wouldn't it be cool if the keys were stainless steel, too. Now THAT would be a device worth $1000.

It has a good amount of RAM (2GB), and a 1.5Ghz Dual core Snapdragon S4 I believe. Same thing that's in the Droid Mini I think. Things I don't like about the Classic: it's a beautiful phone, but when you buy a good case to keep it that way, it looks like a brick; the camera is decent, at best; only 8MP? That's a bit dated as well. Even Apple is up to 12MP now, and they're always behind and make it work; the PPI is another one, I think it should be AT LEAST 300, not 294; will you see any big difference? Probably not, it's still good enough to enjoy without noise or pixelated images. but that's where my gripes stop. It does everything well, I receive emails fast, I love the keyboard and return of the tool belt. Is it as good as today's Samsungs and flagships? No, but it's also only $369.00, keep that in mind.

I would love it if they made the 'Silver Edition' a proper 'thing' that they did with all of their devices. The Passport SE is awesome. The Classic would look awesome like that. And the Slider would have a better name.
