Has anyone noticed any additional battery draw when having this feature enabled?

Yeah in order for the swipe to wake to work, there has to be a small current running through the screen at all times, so you will see reduced battery life if you have this feature on

Nope, never even considered the feature... How do you carry your phone that makes it useful...

So the alternative is to click the power button to wake it? Is there any other option, or just these two?

Press U and then Enter. That's the only way I can wake my Passport lately too.

Thanks very much, I'm new to Blackberry OS so it's handy to learn about these alternative options from your good selves.

I guess the battery diagnostics tool doesn't go into such fine detail to reveal the power drain of the swipe-to-wake feature, but I've turned it off now as it wasn't something I was crazy about, and anything that saves a bit of battery life without being a pain to lose is fine by me!
