    Probably a fake. There are programs that you can use to readily determine what kind of card you have. Just because it's from amazon does not mean it's legit.

    Try restoring the SD from an android if u have one or in a computer using the adapter it included because formatting from the BlackBerry Classic takes longer I have a 64gb and I don't have any problems after I restored using an android

    The program H2testw is what most people seem to use to verify sd-cards and flash drives. I've sent back cards that were obviously smaller than advertised. Since you have a large sized card, the test could take a while, so try the easier options first.

    Yep H2Testw is the program I was referring Tom. There is apparently a huge market for these fake microSD cards and the supply lines seem to be contaminated with them. People have ordered two from amazon and got one real one and one fake.

    How they look can also be used to ferret out fakes but I like testing them with programs.
