they should put in 13 megapixels and an awesome sensor. One that allows you to control the light. Quad Core 2.4 would be nice. 3gb ram, 32 internal with sd option. 2800 battery would be slick. Leather rear door, ect.

    Say different to Q10.

Just looking at the device internal hardware is different. Looks as though there is duel speakers and the bottom of the device.

I'm thinking more of a Z30 spec range.

I hope it's Quad core.. not too much, 1,7 is quite good for me. For RAM, I feel it need 3GB.. don't know why though haha. 16GB internal would be enough. Not hoping too much for the camera..

It depends what those cores are. Tegra 3 is quad-core but Snapdragon S4 is quicker.

For a device like this, I simply hope for a modern cpu/gpu architecture. If that is the case, it'll constitute a good speed bump over the Z10/Q10/Z30.

I think that BlackBerry will never be at the top in specs, and we will hear the famous justification: "that's because a very low specs in a BlackBerry runs faster than a high specs in an android or iOS device". Then, in two yeas we can't update our BlackBerry because it is hardware obsolete. Maybe it is a Marketing strategy to sell phones.
I really want to believe something different, because I love BlackBerry and want the Q-Classic!

You'll be surprised with the Passport if you think they never go for high specs.

No need for big specs on the Classic. It is meant to be a power communications tool for business users migrating from os7.

If you do not fit in this category, you will have other options, like the Passport or upcoming "Manitoba".

The Classic will be released a year and a half after the Q10. There is no way it will have the same specs.

Yea I doubt it would have the same specs. Still a good chance that it's 720p though. Rest should be higher. I'm hoping they raise the storage space too though.

So just because you are upgrading from an older device that means you wouldn't want better specs?? I'm a little sick of this argument. I am using a Q10, but even if I was coming from an old Bold 9900, I don't want to "upgrade" to 2-year old tech. I would want the latest tech so it's future-proofed. Regardless of if you'll use it mainly for communicating, you're still paying hundreds of dollars. It better be decent specs...

You're not the target for the device. It will work perfectly for the big corps it is intended for with moderate specs.

Don't kid yourself. Big corps want future proof products too.
It hurts their bottom line to have to upgrade devices sooner than they have to.

You are still basically saying to give them the bare minimum that they "need"... I don't get how you think that somehow everyone is happy to just get the bare minimum of what they need? Unless you're going to suggest that the phone will be very cheap to buy, then I can see cost savings as a reason, but if it'll be right up there with other flagship phone, what good business man would pay a premium for a phone with 2 year-old specs? A business man like that would be out of business already...
