My problem, my speaker seems to be muted... when I'm in the media player, no sound... I go to settings, speaker is selected... no sound... I select "handset" there is sound... but very very faint... when back to regular use, no sound when I hit speaker while on a call... also no sound when phone rings... dang, I had to activate vibrate for all my communication settings... puzzled??? I did restart, I did shutdown, reboot... I did "Q" key for silent mode... I checked airplane mode... dang???

Well for a start Handset is the Ear speaker you use for talking on the phone.

Have you run the BBVE Speaker tests? You may find you speaker has died.
And, have you reloaded the OS?

Thanks for the tips... did the tests... only thing left is to wipe and reload... dang, really starting to believe my speaker is shot dead... ughhh!!!

Classic for work, Z30 for everything else...
