Well, Chrome works on my Q10.
There is a native youtube app on your phone.
I doubt google play books will ever work,
Dont know anything about netflix.
What specifically are your issues with thes apps, how did you try to load them?
>Chrome
Why? Stock browser will always be faster...
Netflix should also work straight from Amazon appstore.
For youtube you will need to read.

The YouTube app, prepatched to work without any annoying popups. Requires patched Google Play services to be installed on the device."
Meaning you are going to need. Android settings, android Blackberry ID, and Google Play Services found on that thread.
All credit where it is due.
A good luck and enjoy your Classic

Forget youtube, get supertube to have it integrated into your universal search. Netflix works fine, got mine through snap (only app you need to "sideload" anymore), and chrome? Why? I don't even use it for the PC. 1/3 of the sites I go to do not render correctly with Chrome but do on both Firefox and IE...

just got my phone yesterday, any ideas on how to put instagram on it?
For Netflix I use the Amazon app store. It works (on the same home network) with my PS3 allowing me to use my BlackBerry Z30 as a remote.
For YouTube I use the Browser and it works perfectly. I have even paired my BlackBerry Z30 with my PS3 and Smart TV to use the Z30 as a remote for both. Go to youtube.com/pair to set it up.

Yea I know there's substitutions... there's just nothing like the original native apps... use chrome on every device I own and like how it syncs up
I havent had luck with chrome, but havent tried it in about 6 months. Netflix android version works perfectly from amazon.

I'm not an instagram user but i'd likely go with a native app like igrann... if you don't like that google instagram android apk and you most likely will be able to find a legit android install... I recommend the native app because it will integrate better and you will be able to post pics from the camera by sharing them to the igrann app (if it supports that).

Just got my Classic today so here are my early thoughts/suggestions.
Chrome-browser all day. I've never liked Chrome anyway
Youtube- I use Fasttube, much better. I even loved it on my Q10
Google Play Books-not sure what you are using it for, but I just downloaded Google Talk and it works fine. I just need it for Hangouts.
Netflix-downloaded from Mobile 1 app store and works fine.
Hope this helps.

The only one of those that doesn't seem to be working is YouTube; probably requires Google+ authentication like Hangouts.
The rest work fine:

Is that a chromecast icon that I see in netflix... Does it work?
Also was installing Play books hard to do?
(patching and all, or did you download it already patched)
Thanks!
I have a Z10 and I heard Chrome and superior Firefox run on 10.3.
There's SuperTube which is a super version of Youtube. It has it all and more. There's also FastTube which is inferior to SuperTube but still good.
Don't know about Google play books.
Netflix downloading from amazon app store or anywhere works perfectly.

I don't use Chrome cast, so I can't say. That IS what the icon is though.
It was not difficult installing any of it. Just a matter of getting the apk's. None of the Apps on the screen shot I posted needed to be patched.
Go to Cobalt landing page (linked below) to get the files and the instructions. My suggestion is save them to you memory card if you run leaks often.

You don't need all the ones in my screen capture, but I personally use apk's 1,3,4,5,7 and 8.
