[ I posted this the other day but I can no longer find it]

One of my no-name Bluetooth headsets recently seems to have begun to support HID (keyboard) profile. This seems odd to me and a possible trojan horse security risk. I can tell my Android devices to ignore the HID profile offered by the headset. Is that possible on our BB10 Classic?

HID stands for Human Interface Devices which not only covers bluetooth keyboards and mouses but headsets also.

Thanks. An internet search shows that's rare though. The headset recently began to interfere with Android's popup keyboard because it now appears as a keyboard. The headset seems to be fully functional with Android when Android disables use of the headset's recent support for HID. The device is documented to support the headset and handsfree profiles. It is not documented to support HID. And it didn't support it earlier. The BB icon for it now is a keyboard, and no longer a headset. Android can disable the HID profile for it. How can I do that in BB10?

I also have the exact same issue. Cannot turnoff HID as on Android.
