The only thing i think I would not like about the q20 is a possible larger size.
The q10 fits ok in one hand, but the bold is perfect in one hand.
I would prefer a smaller sized phone running bb10.

I don't think we know any confirmed dimensions for either the Q20 or Q30. Hopefully we'll hear more details soon.
We know a few factsa about the q20... one is screen size. It will be a equipped with a 3,5" screen - so the largest screen ever built on a QWERTY-phone.
I also dislike this size. I would rather see a phone of the size of the bold 9900.

I agree. In fact I would prefer a BB10 phone even smaller than the 9900 and closer to the 9700 in size. I mentioned this a while ago in the "Will you buy a Q20" thread. Unfortunately given the 3.5 inch screen and toolbelt on the Q20/classic, it will have to be larger than the Q10. Maybe a smaller device will be released sometime later.
Yeah, a few of us are pretty fond of the 9650 primarily for its comfortable fit in a single hand but also because it has NO touchscreen. Trackpad only. Its keyboard isn't quite as sweet as the 9900's famous keyboard, though. The 9930's size took a little getting used to but that WONDERFUL keyboard made it worth the trouble. Trackpad devices don't really need as much display real estate because it isn't necessary to obscure the display with a relatively gigantic finger in order to navigate.
I don't think you could go much larger on a qwerty phone than with the Q10. The phone has to keep the handy, compact size. As the Q20 is going to be a classic, bold like phone I don't think they will experiment a lot as far as the screen size is concerned.

I can't beIeve we don't have confirmed photos of these devices yet. I believe the Classic will look just like our Q10s - just more screen real-estate with the tool-belt.
I'm torn on the belt...I originally wanted it but now I'm used to my Q!
As much as I love the physical keyboard, do you think software like s-voice and Siri, that a keyboard is useless? I mean these types of software have come a LONG way and they are really accurate now.

I agree that voice control software could be a big deal in the coming years. However that doesn't mean that a keyboard can't be a selling factor. Especially now, as I don't see many people making use of such software yet, and additionally a keyboard is not about faster typing, it's about more convenient typing.

I would say the reason I sue the keyboard is more for format...for example when I type an email, I format everything the way I want. I also use the physical because I simply can't stand tapping a screen to power out work emails all day. I use my thumbs to type.

I think a poll is due for gauging screen size preference.
I just cant believe anyone would want a smaller screen. I find the Q10 very comfortable with one hand but I really wouldnt mind sacrificing some of that for a 4inch screen
Q10SQN100-3/10.2.1.2228, Z30, Z10, iP5, SGS3
If the BlackBerry logo was removed from the top of the Q10, you would be able to have a half an inch more screen and add the tool belt to the bottom without making the phone size bigger.
Bold fits perfectly on my hands, but the Q10 I sometimes have to use my pinky finger to rest the phone while my other fingers grip and my thumb gestures.
That's a very good point. It's been a couple years since seeing a Bold apart but i sure recall some wasted real estate at both top and bottom of the device. There are essential components in those areas but it's not like i recall things being really crowded there. Dunno about the Q but surely RIM considered that?? ???
