I mean who is doing this now? Completely naked, no case, no pouch, just a screen protector?

I am currently using no case and bought a official pouch for it. However, I really like the feel of the phone and the convenience of not having to remove it from a pouch when trying to use it or when picking up a call.

Can someone who does this comment on this? Is the Classic solid enough to withstand naked use?

Mine has been naked for about a month. I am quite careful to make sure it is in my bad during transport. I have been using all of my Blackberrys naked. I do have a screen protector so I won't have to worry about keys etc scratching it.

Beware of shrinkage then if you're in a snow storm.

No case, no screen protector, but I use a holster. No scratches on the screen or anything yet. Same with my Q10, no screen protector or case for that either, and it's also fine.

I'm still using the "screen protector" that comes already on the phone. It's all scratched up now and I want to remove it, but I hate applying new ones.

Same here, but I have a screen protector on deck for that day that the factory one wears out. Rocked my classic naked for a month and a half b4 I got a case. Makes it feel much lighter when I rock it naked. I love my classic, but I'm really waiting for that White Classic

had the Classic for less than a week, no screen protector & naked, as is my Q10 and iPhone 5s (both devices have been naked for over a year).

i do not put my devices in pockets with keys, loose change, in a crumpler bag loose etc. nor do i use a belt clip.

I never really rock cases on my previous BlackBerry phones. Same thing with the Classic. I feel I need to show off it's a BlackBerry

I have used my lovely Classic for almost 1 month. And at the beginning, I did not use any protector like case, screen protector... totally naked. Classic is hard rock, can not be defeated.

    Also don't use any case.

I am just always making sure my Classic has a pocket for itself. No key chains etc. allowed ;-)

The screen is shielded by the bezel, so I think even a drop on the side will leave a dent in the frame (if) but will not shatter the glass. I have seen sooo many shattered Iphones screens that I can understand that people buy cases for them.

I ran my Pre 3 for almost 4 years naked, considering nobody really released cases nor protectors for it. After 4 years, the back cover has a crack, screen scratch and dents from keys and the entire HP logo fell off (appropriately). But device was work perfectly fine.

I don't really resell my devices, just run them to the ground. Planning to do the same with my Classic now.

I mean, BlackBerries are built like tanks for abuse since it's almost always on corporate duty, right?

Q10 completely naked. I love the glass weave feeling while holding the phone.
I never used cases on my phones because I prefer to feel the object as it is and the compact form of the Q10 is perfect in hand.
After 5 months, the phone seems brand new.

I may think of a screen protector, but I know nothing about these things, and the screen seems to be really resistant against scratches.
Does someone only use screen protectors ? Are you happy with it ? And does it have an impact on the sensitivity of the screen ?

There is no reason for me to put it in a case or put a screen protector on it. Its condition is perfect because I just treat the device right, I think ^^
