I read where the classic ships with os 10.3.1.1154. For the rest of us using the leaked 10.3.1.1154 there's a bug to unlock the device we have to swipe up twice. Is this the case with the classic?

Yes. I don't know if it is a bug or feature. It was asked in BlackBerry betazone but not sure if there was a response.

Thank you, I think it is a bug. All prior oses unlock with one swipe. Two just makes it harder to get into your device.

My Classic has 10.3.1.747 - this is what it came with and that bug is not present.

This is why I'm fine with 10.3.1 being delayed until February for other devices. It's not quite ready yet, there are a few quirky bugs. I'd rather the masses get a good stable version.

I use the power button to lock/unlock the phone and that works perfectly fine.

If this is a thread for asking Classic owners, then I might include my question here as well.

Does the back of Classic comes as removable as seen/read from initial reviews of the device? I was thinking this could be a good thing to change the back into a different material, if that's the case of course.

Doesn't look like it would be a simple cover to remove.

I don't see any screws or any leveraging points. But I'm sure there is a way inside if you want one.

I rarely experience the double swipe-to-wake bug on my Q10 running 10.3.1.1154.
