Is Tmobile supporting the Blackberry Classic as far as OS updates? Has the latest OS update been released to the Tmobile variant?

I want to make sure im not stuck waiting for OS updates, like with my Q10 which for some reason never got the last few OS updates over the air, resulting in me having to install leaked OS's.

So far the T-Mobile Classic updates have kept pace with the other carrier's updates... Still waiting on an update to bring WiFi calling, hoping that pops up sometime this week or in the very near future, but so far the Classic is receiving updates while T-Mobile seems to have abandoned the Q10 and Z10 updates...

Last update the Classic from T-Mobile US got was 10.3.2.876. Here's the link. For the latest version, head on over to this forum. That leak is actually the official release worldwide.

So has the Classic on Tmobile recieved the most recent OS update released a few days ago (10.3.2.2639)?

How long does it take for Tmo to release updates compared to the updates direct from Blackberry?

No, the most latest version hasn't hit US carrier branded devices yet, just the unlocked shopBB Classics...

My Blue shopBlackBerry Classic has the one from last week, while my T-Mobile Classic has the one that dropped in July...

To my knowledge, however, no US carrier-branded devices have had the most recent push through...yet anyways... So T-Mobile is still keeping pace with other carriers as it pertains to their Classic...

Is there any tiimeline or anything online to check if Tmobile has gotten the update, or when they plan on releasing it (and future updates)? I want to make sure they plan on releasing any future updates before I purchase.

You can check online here: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-22206

Or simply hit your software update button... I've created a dedicated homescreen shortcut icon for my convenience haha...

Please keep us up to date on this. I'm especially interested in the WiFi texting aspect of it.

All working fantastically! And there is confirmation in the T-Mobile topic area of someone getting their unlocked ATT passport on T-Mobile network getting the update and WFC as well...

I upgraded my T-Mobile issued Classic AND my unlocked shopBB Blue Classic and BOTH have WFC enabled. All is well. Perfect call clarity, texts go as smoothly as dreamed... No outstanding flaws with the OS itself (or not that I've yet to noticed)... If you're holding off, I would go for it!

Oh. I was actually asking about full OS updates, specifically if Tmobile variants received the newest update released a few weeks ago (and if they will receive the next update).

Can't say for sure, but I'm thinking no... Going by the vast reactions of others yielding various devices, it seems to be that any BB10 device can install this and have WiFi calling (provided you are on the T-Mobile Network)... Give it a try... That's the best way to know... The OS itself feels very stable thus far and I can't think of any reason to advise one NOT to install... Worst case scenario you don't get functioning WFC, best case you do... No harm in trying!

If you do give this OS a whirl, it would be awesome if you reported back with your findings to help out other Crackbarians who may have a similar question.
