Thanks. I was going through some pix from last year auto show and... yeah, if money wasn't an issue. There it was. So I dug up a nice clean version. Here it is, if you're interested.

Sweet, thanks! Right now my avatar on my PC's account is the running pony with the red white and blue bars that Ford used as their Mustang logo for a while. That snake will find its way into something somewhere on my PC or phone...

OK guys. We love our Shelby's.

BUT we have to let it go in this thread before I have to give myself an infraction for taking it off topic! That'd be embarrassing.

Well, this IS the "Classic" forum, lol. . The relavence to this thread is the value of "Flagship" models. Sometimes priced beyond grasp of mere mortals but invaluable for marketing exposure. Shelby's Cobras cost Ford a fortune but made them a mint! Still, 50 yrs later. Hoping the passport can carry the flag but it'll be on the Q20 to fill the pockets. . Just hope BB makes enough to stay afloat.

    (btw, Carol's personal 427 csx3015 sold for $5.5M a few yrs back. )

How much does a new 9900 go for these days, from BlackBerry? I'd say whatever that is +$100 for a Classic.

Considering that the 9930 stilll retails for $499 at Verizon, I would say the Classic won't be priced under that.

The 9900/9930 is still one of the best text and email phones on the market. They are asking $499 because there is still a demand for it. Should drop $100-150 in the month.

If an innovative and higher end phone like the Passport can have a decent price ptag of $599, then a copy and paste phone like the Classic would possibly be around $399-$499. Now, if the Classic is a Foxconn made phone we could see a much less expensive price tag.

MAYBE the Foxconn phone will be a 9900 updated? Now that would be nice a 9900 updated for $200-300. Don't see it happening, but on my wish list.
