Yesterday I worked outside all day on a project, about 35 degrees out. I made and received about 47 phone calls, and 2 technical emails.

I so wish that I had my classic, I missed 2 calls trying to get my glove off to answer the phone!

I needed a wiring diagram, that I received via email, but I have to take my gloves off again to pan and zoom around the pdf.

I could sell a billion of these things with a commercial showing people at work, trying to use a touch screen phone with gloves on, or greasy hands.

    Ok end of rant!

Oh wait....hurry up Verizon, I want my classic!

    Really...end of rant.

Not to mention if you get sweat on the touch screen it can become unresponsive!

I guess it will be difficult to operate the touch pad with gloves on, too. Not to mention that you need some gestures to operate a BB10 phone properly.

I'm not sure, but it might be also harder to wipe the grease from the keyboard than from the screen, after a day of work.

Trackpad is optical, will work with any glove...

Yes, but I guess precision will suffer.

LOL you guys kill me, have you ever worked outside?

less precise absolutely blows NON functional out of the water.

Also LOLing about touchscreen gloves...admittedly maybe there are some around that aren't knit out of yarn, but I have not seen any, and those knit gloves would last almost half a day.

I have had torches, and tours and bolds throughout the years, and the trackpad works well with gloves.

You know what works absolutely perfect with gloves..... SEND/END.

This is the phone we have been waiting for .

    Hurry up Verizon!!!!!

Touchscreen is hard on a cold day too. Found that out with my Z10. Bought the gloves that had the special tips. Didn't work too well. That's why I switched to the Q10 and now the Classic.

To be honest, if you use your hardkeys on the Classic with greasy fingers, these keys will malfunction rather quickly...
