I bought the Classic the day it was released last December. The power button on the top was as raised as the volume buttons are.

Last week, the trackpad button stopped working; being under warranty BlackBerry sent me a replacement Classic.

The power button on this replacement device sits almost flush on the surface. Although it is a little harder now to turn it on and off, it's no big deal.

Did BlackBerry change the design slightly this year? Has anyone bought the Classic recently and have the power button sit flush?

I just noticed that one my blue one. I like it, doesn't get caught and presses nicely still. I think it's been that way the whole? Hahaha I can't remember

The new SE passport also has a flush power button, it's good as it won't get pushed in by accident.

    Passport SE version SQW100-4/10.3.2.2639
