I picked up a used Classic (and 4 other old 0s6/7 devices) in a lot for 10 bucks. The classic works but it gets hot when charging. Could it just be a dead battery?

fails a lot of the tests, trackpad also doesnt work. Might just be a water damaged unit. Gonna try opening it up to see what's inside. Wish it worked, but now I know why it was part of a ten dollar bundle.

would have been nice to get it working. Since the light sensor doesnt work the keyboard also doesnt light up.

EDIT: Do you feel like pointing me in the direction of the most up to date Classic autoloader?

For 10 canuck bucks it was worth the fun I'm sure you had taking it apart and playing with it.

It runs. It just doesn't run cool. It'll make a good bedroom decoration after I remove the battery

I doubt it'll fix anything, but get the Z30 loader from here: https://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-l...links-1128992/

Not sure about the weather down there, but up in northern Canada it'd make a perfect small hand warmer like mentioned above.

Hamilton is like 1C right now. But Hamilton is like Southern Canada, I'll wait until January when it actually starts snowing.
