    So I recently bought a bb classic from a store.

    They said its unlocked.

    I get home and it says your current sim card requires one or more mobile equipment personalization codes ect..... and it shows the two subjects are unlocked.

    Then when the sim is in, it shows that the device is network locked

    The dealer said he's going to get me an unlock code tomorrow. Hoping that solves the case

    Has anyone had this issue?

    Could be locked on your carrier if it was reported lost/stolen/non-pay.
