I'm wondering about some of the permissions that some of the apps request (demand) especially Android apps. The one that bothers me the most is "phone" which allows them access to my phone #, files on device, storage and even clouds. Is that as bad as it sounds? Does that mean that they can literally access anything on my phone? See my pictures? Private stuff that I may keep in a note, contact, word file etc? If so, why would anyone allow that? Our phones have become a place that we all keep such a personal stuff.

Did I put it in the Q20 forum? If so it was a mistake. I can't even tell that I did, I'm using the app. Sorry. Is there a way for me to move it?

The app essentially is not requesting any permissions, it is the Android Runtime. If you notice after the install, there is no means of limiting or fine tuning any permissions for any android apps.

I've noticed. But, does the creator of the app have access to my info? Does anyone? Either way, I have granted permission, no?

You'll be able to change permissions in the next update! 10.3 features android 4.3so we'll have that functionality very soon.

That's still many months away though, no? I'd really love a dummy app that just give false info
