As with others on this forum I love my passport and it is by far the best device I've ever owned as a portable work machine, but I can't help but desire a one handed BB with the trackpad for those moments (that I'm sure we've all had - shopping, coffee, running, gym etc) where the passport is just too big! Will see if the classic price drops and will get it as a second phone

Nah. I want the high end specs of my passport. Likely means over time I will be able to load leaks and have better performance. At some point the lower spec hardware will probably not fare as well.

I've made the switch. Received the Classic a couple of days ago and made it my main phone. The keyboard is an absolute joy to type on; it's like typing on my beloved old Bold 9900. My Passport will be the secondary phone and will act as more of a tablet.

Well, bit the bullet today. I'm now giving the Classic a run, woo-hoo woot woot. Have the Z30 sitting on the bench, but ready to come into the game if called on...so far, I'm having Bold 9900 flashbacks on the Classic...way cool :-)

The Classic paired with a Note 4 and T-Mobiles 2 for $100 can't go wrong, best of both worlds. After typing on a Classic I can't see how I went the past few years with all touch screen lol

I used Classic for three weeks and bought Passport again.
I couldn't digest the lag due to aging CPU. I could live with the low res screen but couldn't get around the lag. Specially using some Android app.
