My classic gets pretty hot after I using it for a while, like 15 mins. Especially if I watch a movie or clip on the Internet. Note: I bought it 2 days ago from Orange Romania. Someone told me that it is possible to be a fake. I dnk what to believe.

Might be faulty. I've used mine for over 2 hrs straight and I haven't experienced that.

I've returned the first BlackBerry classic to sender due to the same problem (overheat) and I've experienced the same thing on second one. Maybe I should ask for my money....
P.S. : both phones' trackpads have a weird form. I dnk how to explain that but when I look closely it looks like lob-sided. That is why I think they sell fake phones

I don't know about that. I do know my TP is a little wonky as well. I heard that complaint a lot but I don't really notice it unless I really inspect it. I would let the battery break in a bit so to speak

Go to settings, then app manager then memory see how much memory you have before you start using it. Then check it after it heats up. Reboot and check it again. If you have less than 500mb of memory after reboot make changes so you have over 700-800mb

Also turn off the apps so they don't run in the back ground or when minimized.

When my device got 'hot' I checked available memory and it had around 900 mb of free memory. And generally I close all apps after using, so I don't have any apps running in beckground

You got it two days ago, it is settling, adding accounts, working hard in the background. It's fine. I'm going to say it's not fake, 99.9% sure.

    Which OS are you running?

    BBClassic10.3.2.2252

In some cases it is the OS. My Z10 runs hot since I updated the OS.

Just because you close an app does not mean it is close. You have to check the permission setting and "close when minimized"

Check cpu usage not memory usage, go to app permissions revoke run when minimised, or run in background for android apps, you will notice the difference.

2339 is technically for passport. 2252 is for classic

Incorrect. .2339 was pushed OTA by BlackBerry to my Amazon unlocked Classic. It is for Classic.

You device is new, so it might still be doing things in the background. I suggest doing a reset (pressing and holding the top button for 10 seconds).
Also, as suggested above checking CPU will show which app might be dominating your resources realtime.

I had that software maybe two releases back.
My Classic usually gets the update pushed to it the day it's announced. Some go through the carriers and can take longer. That seems to be the case with you.
I can tell you that for my device the newest OS is the best working so far.
