Why is the options menu so inconsistent?

For example, when I'm in email, I can highlight words, hit the BB button and just hit the 'c' key to copy. But when I try to paste in the browser address bar and hit the BB button, there's no 'v' key shortcut for pasting.

Or in text messaging, you can hit the BB button, but you have to click the "more"button before you can click the 'v' key to paste.

What's up with this? Is there a reason beyond just a half-assed OS? Is this going to be fixed?

I experience the same inconsistencies but hopefully it will be the small details that will be fixed in future updates. This OS is not a finished product but it is also not far away from being there. BlackBerry is still far superior when it comes to email and copying and pasting attachments vs other platforms.

As I've said in previous posts, of all the phones I've owned over the last 20 years or more, this phone has the worst menu config ever. Awesome hardware, but menus are unbelievably poorly designed. This really needs to be addressed.

The OS wasn't designed for trackpads.

I have gotten into the habit of copying to the clipboard twice, because many times, it does not paste the latest copy.
