I will update the system. So, which version is best for BlackBerry Classic?
Thank you in advance!

Where did you get a new Classic from??
From Germany. There is a topic about super deal on Classic.

The latest is fine - 10.3.3.3057.
In the latest i lost the ability to play youtube videos in the background - while doing other things or with screen off - so that was a sad final update for me
That had nothing to do with updating. YouTube made changes at its end.
Use desktop mode on your browser.
Or use SuperTube (free)

I suppose it the change to youtube occurred at the same moment i updated... also the battery stopped holding a charge shortly after so i leave it plugged in as an alarm clock. I liked the classic and bb10 - miss it.
Not wanting to start another thread on this topic I have been holding at 10.3.2.2813 as I have had zero issues with it on 2 BB10 phones.
10.3.3.3216 is now released and peaked my interest. Understanding the krack fix, what performance gains or losses would warrant the step to a 10.3.3.xxxx OS?
With the inability to "go-back", any and all inputs would be greatly appreciated before I can't reverse. Thanks
Classic SQC100-2 I 10.3.2.2813
No new features - just bug fixes, security patches, and small browser enhancements.
I see no downside to updating.
Appreciate the quick response Conite.
The double type issue was fixed in the 2813 release, is this still true in later versions? What about radio performance and bluetooth?
Classic SQC100-2 I 10.3.2.2813
It wasn't really a "fix" per se.
2813 had the most aggressive algorithm for delaying the next input. Some say it went too far, and complained that true double letters were being ignored. The next update backed off a bit, and that has stayed the same as far as I can tell.
If you had very bad double typing, you may wish to stay on 2813.
Radio and Bluetooth have been around the same - although some say better, and some say worse. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yes I had the double typing in the Q10 days, but nothing so far on my Classic.
As AT&T never updated the phone I loaded the 2813 days out of the box. The Classic "seems slower" to connect to the network during calls and texting while in fringe areas and roaming seems to confuse it more than previous BlackBerrys.
Classic SQC100-2 I 10.3.2.2813
If it were me, I'd update. No issues on my Classic on the latest OS.
Thanks as always!

my classic still on 10.3.3.1435 no latest update everytime i tap on device update..i dont know hot to manual update,,please help..or should i wait the update will come..please suugest
You may wish to wait a couple of weeks to see if it gets pushed to your device.
In the meantime you can do a bit more reading here about autoloaders and Sachesi.
yes sir im reading about autoloaders but still update at my own risk,,sadly we dont have bb service center here in my place..anyway thanks for your replies sir
My wife's Classic is on Koodo (Telus), unlocked NA from Staples SQC100-4. The OTA update to 10.3.3.2137 only appeared after I removed the SIM and did a hard reboot while "SIMless".
Using an autoloader to update is SUPER easy. Takes only about 15 minutes to do once you download the file to your PC. You will wonder why you didn't do it sooner. It is virtually impossible to brick your device permanently (unless you forget your BBID when it's time to reset). If something goes wrong eg. wrong autoloader chosen, just get the correct one and redo it.
if you only near i m gonna ask you a favor do it for my self..hehehe still dont wanna take a risk ill just wait for a couple of weeks to come,,thanks again
Why my Classic shows 10.3.3.1463 and "you have the latest software"?..
Because that's the latest one being pushed to your carrier.
Thanks! I thought it checks it directly with BB servers...
Will have to learn about manual installation.
If you bought the device factory-unlocked direct from BlackBerry, then you'd be correct. Although they aren't pushing it to those either.
