Apart from the odd square aspect ratio and 3 year old processor, the Blackberry Classic is by far the best phone I've own so far. Forget these feather light weights super thin paper weights that have no appeal to you for love of your device, blackberry has created a line of devices that are warm solid and friendly. I have found a whole new love for blackberry in the classic, unfortunately I couldn't get used to the passport device found it too hard to keep comfortable in my back pocket while working in the factory.

    1) yes you love it

    2) you hate it

    3) it will continue to grow on you

The more I hold it and the more I use it, the more I love it. It's twice the versatility of a smartphone and 3 times the fun, it's only getting better with age as the OS starts to age it will begin to draw back a crowd. Keep up the good work RIM

Agreed. I used every BlackBerry 10 device (aside from the Z3) and the classic is my favourite. I do wish the processor was faster though.. it buckles under heavy multitasking, especially with android apps. Trying to run waze and spotify in the car is a painful experience!

Overall, an awesome device in terms of usability thought

The build and design of the Classic is great along with decent specs. But I would rather have a cheaply made one with great specs. I can always put a case on it.

Even cheap superphones made of plastic with bulky cases don't feel right in the hand don't care how fast they are, personally running two apps simultaneously is redundant but if you get a kick out of it stick with it. How's this for a result. Go pay $650 dollars for a piece of plastic made by a company driven by sales and mass marketing, mass production then hold a quality heavier smartphone made with precious metals and premium materials for $450-$500 then tell me how you'd feel. That's a saving of $150-$200 in food for the lamer.

    1. Absolutely love it! I'm a big tech guy personally and I can even say, regardless of specs, this can easily keep up and out perform my Nexus 5 as a daily personal device.

Not yet getting the same love as my Passport, the nostalgia from BBOS is what is making me love it, but soon we'll see if that consumes my love for the Passport

Coming from a Q5, previously a Q10, previously to that a Z10, I've been very much in the "Why would we need so many buttons? BB10's swipe gestures work just fine" camp. Since getting the Passport last week I've been using the "End Call" button to go back to my home screen so much more than I was expecting. It was natural to me almost immediately after turning the phone on.

Very happy to have grabbed this phone.
