    I don't have a classic yet seeing as the screen is bigger and longer now I think it would be a great feature if you could operate it sideways, this would be great for media consumption such as watching a video.

    For those who have a classic, is the screen wide and big enough to watch a video side ways?
    Is it comfortable to hold sideways?
    For the app developers can you please develop an app that has this feature! It would be a great competitive feature for BB against Android/Apple media consumption crowd.

    I believe they all have rotation, just on my passport it doesn't matter which way you hold it, lol

    Don't do it. Get a different phone if this is important to you. It doesn't rotate and wouldn't be better at anything if it did.

    Maybe someone can develop an app to have the video rotate diagonally so people like OP can make the most out of it :-D ...even if the classic is stated as not ideal for media consumption

    I figured the screen was a bit wider when you turn it width wise but according to other posts it's not. It's not a big deal for me because personally I don't consume much media but the occasional time I do why not make the most of the screen real estate when sharing a you tube video or something else.
