I just went to Tmobile to get my Q10 data put on my new Q5. Total waste of time, just did it myself on the computer.

They (4 of them) had absolutely no idea how to even use the Q10, and additionally told me TMobile would not be carrying the Passport or Classic.

I don't know if that helps anyone here.
The red Q5 I got is nice and zippy, and doesn't double type. I got tired of waiting for the Classic, and saved over $300 on cost of device.
I will wait and see how the reviews for the Classic go.

Unfortunately it doesn't help anyone here at all... It been proven time and time again that no one on this earth is less knowledgeable about devices and device availability than a carrier sales rep, hahah

T-Mobile made their intentions towards BlackBerry known long ago. Basically, they're out. But that doesn't mean they won't support unlocked BlackBerrys. The question now is if BlackBerrys will support T-Mobile's 4G frequencies.

Well, my Q5 is up and running. So hopefully everyone with the Classic will be as lucky!
Tmobile is a great network, its sad they are out of the bberry loop.

You're better off a cellular branded phone.

Rambo47: they will support unlocked phones, I took my passport in for a sim, almost started a riot, everyone in the store, including the Manager and sales people wanted to play with it. The Manager even put YouTube videos of the Passport on rotation on the Store's Big screen. It works fine on their US network...

I use my Passport on t-mobile.

I called 611 and told them to notate my account so that the in-store rep could see that I needed a new nano sim. They did, and I got a free one instead of paying $10 to T-Mobile. Felt good not to pay those people.

Do you T-Mobile users get 4G on your Passports?

Yes, I have 4g on their network and WiFi Hotspot capability. And my lan totals 74.00 a month, much less, than Verizon!

That's outstanding! T-Mobile's 4G is fast (where available) and their customer service is always terrific. I had TMO back in the day but the killer was the network footprint. Nonexistent out here in the wilds of northern NJ.

We get great. T Mobile coverage on my Passport and the 4G LTE speeds are very fast.
