I know the Classic is supposed to be the workhorse, rather than something fancy or fun, but I figured the Passport was that as well and we still got a nice, shiny red one.

I know the red Passport just came out of nowhere, but I'm wondering if I should hold off on getting the Classic in case there's ever a nice red one available in the future.

Either way I'm sure parts will show up online. I found parts for a red Q10, even, so if it exists it shouldn't be difficult to find.

But how cool would a red Classic be?

If anything for the Classic i would hope they use the 'classic' (pun intended... maybe) blue from the phones that spurred their popularity.

I agree with this sentiment. A blue classic would be an instant buy for me.

Maybe if was a dark shade of red, but no, it's always a "please, look at me, I need attention" shade of red.

I can see a white Classic being released 3 months or so after the basic black. But a red one? Probably not on a device called "Classic."
