I was expecting the Classic to have same specifications as the BlackBerry Passport. But that's not the case apparently, same last year specifications as the Z30 and Z10.
Yeah nah I think I will pass. I'm not paying another $600 merely for a physical keyboard when I already paid nearly $700 in 2013 for the BlackBerry Z30.

Why not use an old BB7 device for qwerty experience? Much more compact than the Q20, very cheap and 9900 and 9790 even have touchscreen.
Who says it's going to cost 600 bucks? I highly doubt they'll price the Classic in the same range as the Passport. I'm pretty sure 400 is a more realistic apporach.

Seems valid. It's always a tough decision for me when I upgrade or change phones. I have to decide what's important to me in an phone at that time. And that changes too.
I am getting the classic over the Q10 because of the toolbelt, and well, because it's new. However, if I had the Q already and was used to lack of toolbelt, I'm not sure I would go with the Classic either.
I'm thinking $500 or so but I hope you're right!
It's not even worth $400 to me. There is no way I can justify buying the same exact phone as the Z30 except with a smaller screen and a physical keyboard for such an excessive price.

That's the thing though, I would pay for it because I'm not a fan of virtual keyboards. Sure there are many more like me too and I think the classic is going to be market towards us.
