It depends what you need a phone for. If you're a heavy social media and app user then no. If you want it for email basic phone and text messages then yes.

The classic is known to be a awesome phone. It is just so much better than a fully touch screen phone

If you're comfortable and used to a VKB, it becomes a tradeoff switching to a PKB and giving up screen.

I've dual carried for 12 years and since 2010, at least one device is VKB because of larger screen.

I love my KEYone but my other phone right now is A30Plus for a larger screen VKB. Get another Leap if you're insisting on BB10. If not, get a Motion.

The Leap and Classic are the same phone internally, so a backup and restore to a Classic would work perfectly. They are both Z30s HW wise, so you could grab a Z30 (A great OLED option) but you'd need a new SIM, as it's micro not Nano.

I got a Classic this week and am loving it. Awesom speaker, a really nice size, premium build. I actually prefer the keyboard on the Passport but the Classic size is better and I find the software to be less glitchy than the Passport. (Makes sense. The Passport was a big departure HW wise. BlackBerry was treading water using the same hardware core for the Z30, Classic, and Leap but it meant they could really work out the kinks)

They are both similar to the Z10, not the Z30.

Good catch. Funny, I'd always thought that the later models were based on the Z30 internals.

Buy a second hand Classic and enjoy BB10 as long as you can... that's my advice.

I suspect they wanted to use up the stock of Z10 components considering it never sold in the numbers they dreamt up.

I have just done this I think both the leap and the classic are the best BB phones in the price range
I like the classic for productivity for fun the leap and both for £35 in the UK (40 euro)

This would be a good time to go for a KEYone / KEY2

There are some complaints, but not nearly as many as last year during the first months of the KEYone launch. Seems the build quality is consistently better this time around, but still has some room for improvement

We will see what TLC/BB will push as updates.... I want to hope they can still fix the problems and make the consumers happy....

I do believe it's in everyone's interest that they do so.
