I attended the AT&T Mobility Forum here in Chicago yesterday and received the BlackBerry Classic as a gift. I can honestly say it's an awesome phone. I like the size and 10.3 OS a lot more than I expected. However; I think I'm going to use my Q10 a my secondary device and drop my iPhone 5s.

So you going to carry two of the same devices........in all reality the Q10 and Classic are interchangeable the Classic being the better buy

Yeah, because I have a work line and a personal line, so the type of device makes no difference. I like them both, and I really have no use for the iPhone. With the updated apps on the 10.3 OS and by having an iPad as well, I don't want my iPhone anymore. The Classic is a better buy than the Q10, but I still want to replace my iPhone. At the Mobility Forum, a lot of BlackBerry employees used either a combination of the Q10 and the Passport or the Classic and the Passport. I want to use the Q10 and the Classic because the Passport was a tad too big for my liking. I hope this all makes sense.

I do have a question though. How important is it for me to get a case for the Classic? Is it as durable at the Bold 9900 series?

Well my device fell and it had a blemish - thankfully I have the resources to buy a new device when I get a scratch or chip. No case, no faux pas

Just chiming in, new classic owner. Coming from a whole litany of android and windows phones I can say I feel like I have an adult phone now! And with the android apps I have and use, I don't use my chromebook or my android pad much. Blackberry blend works great on the tablet! Every device has good and bad but if you fully use the bb10, most taks can be done!

I've actually been playing around with my Classic and I'm thinking about just dropping both my Q10 and my iPhone. The size of the Classic makes the iPhone irrelevant and the Priority Hub makes it so I don't have to be worried about clients when I don't want to be. I'm almost for sure this is going to be my final decision.

You could also go with a holster, if it suits you. The Seidio is quite popular. I have an OEM holster.

I have the Seidio Surface case, which isn't very intrusive. It also has a compatible holster if you want it. I drop my phone all the time so it's worth it for me.

Yeah, I'm pretty clumsy, so I figured I should get a case, but with the size of the Classic, I'm not sure how much more I can fit in my hands, lol. I don't want a holster because it gets awkward sometimes; I had one for my Q10. I want to wing it, but I'm sure I'll send up dropping my phone at some point.
