    I have tried several times to get the latest bbm update, it downloads quickly with no problem but when it goes to install I get an error message. I've tried the usual rebooting the device with no joy on next attempt. Please help!

    It's the BlackBerry classic, I have 7 out of 16 Gbs used up on the device, so should be plenty!

    It just says "installation error"..... I know, pretty vague, and pretty frustrating for me.

    Ok so I've discovered what a BES is, how do I get them to unblock a bbm update? I'm guessing I have to call my carrier. It's a corporate plan with my company but it's my personal BlackBerry.

    Called my carrier and they are baffled by it....they say they r looking into it. Not holding my breath on a solution. My BlackBerry classic is my personal phone, yes I have a corporate rate given to me due to the company I work for but it's not a "corporate phone". I have no secure company email on it or anything like that. I also asked if it was a "recycled phone" sold to me as a brand new one but they assure me it isn't. Weird situation here apparently....frustrating!!
