Typing slow does not help. I've had it happen to me many times while I was typing slow.

Works fine, for those who do not have a malfunctioning kb.
Then they scratch their heads, and wonder what all the fuss is about...

To those who DO NOT have a malfunctioning kb, lucky you!
Now, stop pretending those of us who DO are just whining.

For Classic users, have you ever experience DT when with numbers?
    Yes, numbers are affected too.

It's worn out keyboard components (hardware related).

While there's no definite ansr yet, I believe that double typing is more of a software issue, simply because you can't really double type again right away. Say if you double typed on your P key, and then somebody asks you to show them the issue again. I believe it will be impossible to double type that P right away.

Therefore, I believe this can be corrected through future firmware updates. Go BlackBerry!
