Thanks! I just bought another Classic as backup device off Amazon. Looks fine. Wondering if I should I update that one too incase they just shut down BB updater site to the OP 10 devices forever? Hate that it's the end of the line for BB. Oh well.

The autoloaders are already in the public domain. It doesn't matter what BlackBerry chooses to do in the future.

Am I mistaken or are you guys suggesting that there will be no official update through my carrier??

Not for a while, apparently. The 10.3.3 rollout is sluggish, to say the least.

On a scale of 1 to 10, with '10' being 'highest priority' and '1' being ' essentially of no concern,' we're probably looking at least several weeks to months before the carriers even consider ranking how important their pushing this update is.

I hope Verizon pushes an update. I downloaded the stuff Conite posted, found a way to open the zips and was still clueless what to do b/c my Classic wouldn't do a thing with any of them.

Just drag the Blitz zip file directly into Sachesi. No need to unzip first.

I don;t know what Sachesi is. Sounds like a game. I am a geezer. Also, there were 2 files to download for Classic and both were really big.

Instructions are in the first post of the 10.3.3.2163 thread.

One about 2GB large, one about 60MB?

You can't use an autoloader on a Mac unless you are running Windows.

    But you can use Sachesi.

    If it ain't broke......

10.3.3 adds little to no new functionality. Also there have been some reports about Bluetooth problems post-update but they apparently can be fixed by impairing and re-pairing the devices. Otherwise it's not worth the effort, IMHO.

Really annoying that Verizon doesn't push the update.

I assume there is no easy way to just download the update directly from Blackberry?

(I have never used an autoloader before and know nothing about phone software. I can follow simple instructions, however, so if the link above provides that, I can check it later.)

Also, does 10.3.3 fix the connectivity issues for Verizon customers? That is my only issue with my current software. If 10.3.3 doesn't fix this, I can wait as long as it takes for Verizon to push 10.3.3
