You running a leaked os? Also, how many run in the background processes like Power Tools do you have? And thirdly, it's always good to install task manager from BlackBerry World to close background android apps as those are a bit high for sure. Scroll the Device monitor down and posts those shots too. It seems a lot of apps are running high ram.

Also, if this is a fresh os install, system will be high. If not, restart and see if that drops. Phone appears to be really high on your usage as well. 1st track, restart The phone. 2, install task manager and close android services.
You can find it at http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/23203885

It's a 2 day old classic. It's the OS that came with the phone.

Do you have a lot of email/twitter/facebook etc accounts syncing to the phone? That's still pretty high albeit, we're you running any apps (like the phone that was showing) or android apps when that was taken?

I think there is definitely software related with OS 10.31.1 that comes with the phone. I believe the battery diminishes much to quick for its size. Here's hope for the future.

It looks pretty normal to me.
Let OS do its job and personally I think it's a good sign that OS taking advantage of the free memory.

Had the exact same question. Only a few days old, 4 mail accounts and a twitter. 500 mb free, 800 free after a reboot. Now I know that an os that is built to use lots of ram efficiently it's gonna be fast but I didn't see such high consumption on android and they run pretty much the same.

Get an app like Clean Master it will advise you when you RAM is high. Games and social media when viewing a lot of pictures will jam your RAM. Quick solution turn it off.

I also use RAM Optimizer and program it to run at 1am
