Hi all Classic diehards,
Thought I'd pen down my use case and observations on the Classic:

My use case/typical workday:

1) Up at 6am, Classic battery; 100%
2) Settings: Data ON, Mode: 3G, WiFi OFF, Location: OFF.
3) Drop child off at school in the car, Bluetooth ON for voice calls and music streaming in the car, playing MP3 audio on the Classic, travel duration: 40min.
4) Park the car back at home, Bluetooth OFF, take the train to work (1hr 15min journey).
5) Open applications: Music player, E-Mmanuel Bible Reader, Whatsapp APK, Browser (sometimes), WeChat APK.
6) Reach work at 8.30am. Battery: 78%
7) I usually charge the Classic there and then if possible.
8) Throughout the day, open applications: BBM, Whatsapp.
9) Most other frequently used apps: FBREADER, NavFree (offline maps when driving), Remember (for tasks and notes, tied to an Evernote account)
10) Of course, regular emails during the day etc.

I'm picking one up this week. Previous job required me to have a phone with a lot of apps (travel, expenses, etc) so I traded in my Classic for an S7. Great phone, but I only need the basics now and the Classic does the basics very well.
