I'm sure this has been asked before already. I have the opportunity to pickup a near mint Classic. Its locked to Rogers wireless. I'm with Fido. These guys are affiliated with one another. Can I just pop my Fido Sim into it or will I need it unlocked.

As I said I'm sure this has been asked before. But I can find a post. So I'm asking.

    BLA1ZE ~ Do you know?

I'm guessing if it's locked, you'll need to unlock it. That's generally the purpose of having a phone locked.

Edit: I didn't know Fido was a subsidiary of Rogers. It may work as that's the case.

I did manage to get a Fido sim just working inside a locked Rogers Z10, although I'm unsure if it'll still work like that with the Classic.
